It's an off-road bike with 27.5" wheels. Forks are the pretty standard for a bike of this value, you can adjust the preload tension. The frame is made by Giant in their own factory and this sets them apart from most other manufacturers.   For moving,  you will get the simple and sturdy 9 speed Shimano Cues gear system.  For stopping you will get the tried and tested tektro hyrdaulic brake system.  This bike is the minimum standard you should accept for regular light trail riding.  Don't buy cheaper quality options with less benefits. Buy cheap = buy twice!
